tight in the bud – Anais Nin

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” -Anais Nin

I like it here
It’s so nice and warm
I feel I could disappear
turning it into an art form

It’s only when
we feel the pull
overcome, the now and then
and stop the bull

When no longer ruled by fear
then your magic will appear        listen to audio  tight in a bud – audio

missed opportunities

There are times in our lives, when an opportunity arrives
that will seem to be, an inconvenience to me.

The pain and the stress, makes me feel like a mess,,
not wanting to address, what I wish to express.

Though, at this time we may lose our immunity,
needing only to align our heart and soul’s unity.

Rearrange our thinking, with honor, not shrinking,
and to do what we know, will allow us to grow.

With love in my heart, I call out to you.
please, again be a part, for these words will ring true.

I love you so much and I really understand
that your role is to touch your blessings command.

And in this one act so too shall ensue,
to magnetize and attract all the good back to you.

For Mom -

For Mom.

IMG_0314it has been
so many years
this way to begin
through all the tears

on this day
which we remember
skies are gray
in early december

but we find the strength
in this special grace
our lives at length
to love’s embrace

and you come alive
within us both
your spirit arrives
we swore this oath

a special way
we remember you
our support display
our spirits imbue

knowing you are within
all that we are
through thick and thin
through near or far

our lives a tribute
to what you have done
wanting to contribute
our work just begun

with your guidance & love
your teachings thereof
the memory is strong
we sing your song

Mother dear on Mother’s day

Who is getting more pleasure from this rocking, the baby or me? – Nancy Thayer
MothersdaysmallMother dear,
I call you near.
Closer still
my call fulfill.

Mother dear,
my heart is clear.
It cries for you
each day anew.

Mother dear,
another year
of life’s lessons
and love’s impressions….

For all you have done
for all that you do,
for all that’s yet to come
Thank you
for all you contribute to,
and emotions that run
so deep, so true.

Hummers dream

Across the downs a hummingbird Came dipping through the bowers, He pivoted on emptiness To scrutinize the flowers. Nathalia Crane  listen to poem hummers dream – audio

hummers dreamsmallJust now, I saw my first
hummer of the year.
As she quenches her thirst
in my dreams to appear.

The joy in my heart
jumps out into view
with love to impart
just like my little shih tzu

God is a verb small

Everything is growing

everything expands

winds of change a blowing

commands and understands.

To think of things as permanent

is perhaps a point of view

but eternally in development

is more probable through and through
