We think of others during the holidays.
‘With the golden rule as your guide,
why not extend that to always?’
Maya softly replied.

Everyday is special,
all things are possible.
And this time of year
makes it easier to hear.

whispers of the spirit of giving,
made a part of our living.
Expressing the joy,
of every girl and boy,

and every woman and man
doing what they can.
Taking the time to help another
to see them as a sister or brother.

During this holiday season
make compassion your reason,
and feel your life’s celebration,
exceed someone else’s’ expectation.

Spend time with those you love,
spend time making peace above,
spend time in thought and prayer,
make your time worthwhile and care….
