How can I live up to
someone else’s expectations.
No matter what I do
its really bad vibrations.

Being authentic to our truth
when we discover who we are.
Is best accomplished in our youth
so it doesn’t leave a scar.

A mark will fester and grow
within and upon your soul
making it more difficult
to be and become whole

Be true to yourself and honor
that which you are and become
lest you find yourself a goner
with parts never equaling the sum
